Parent Intensives: Support, Clarity, and Next Steps
Receiving a new diagnosis or facing ongoing concerns about your child’s development can feel overwhelming. Many parents describe this period as filled with questions, strong emotions, and uncertainty especially when they are already connected to services but still unsure how everything fits together.
Parent Intensives are designed to provide containment, clarity, and practical direction during these moments. It is a focused, time-limited consultation for parents and caregivers who want a clearer understanding of their child’s profile and concrete guidance for moving forward.
This intensive is not therapy for you or your child, coaching, or a replacement of therapy or other treatments.
Parent Intensives are designed for parents and caregivers who:
Have a child who was recently diagnosed with ADHD or autism, or other neurodevelopmental difference
Feel unsure about interpreting results or reports
Feel overwhelmed
Want practical and realistic strategies
Seeking a strengths-based, developmentally informed perspective
This service is appropriate for parents who want a one time expert consultation and planning session
Each Parent Intensive is tailored to family needs, but commonly includes:
A clear, strengths-based explanation of your child’s developmental profile
Discussion of regulation, flexibility, attention, and daily functioning concerns
Practical strategies parents can apply right away at home and school
Support in identifying next steps
The goal is for parents and caregivers to leave with greater confidence, clarity, and direction.
Structure at a glance:
One-time, 3-hour intensive
Remote (telehealth)
Parent-only or caregiver (no child present)
Option to meet:
Individually (with just you and one partner)
In a small group with 2–4 other families navigating similar concerns
Families may choose the format that feels most supportive for them.
Some parents prefer the privacy and customization of an individual consultation. Others find it helpful to hear questions from other families and to feel less alone during the early stages following diagnosis.
Families may choose between the following options:
Small Group Parent Intensive: $500 total
(For one or two caregivers from the same household, with 2–4 families total)
Individual Parent Intensive: $975 total
(For one or two caregivers from the same household)
Both formats are designed to be supportive, structured, and respectful. Group sessions remain small and intentionally facilitated to ensure meaningful, relevant discussion while preserving psychological safety.
